Description
The graduated glass pipette, originating from the Czech Republic and CE-certified, is made of soda-lime glass and has a blue graduation. Calibrated at 20 ?C, it complies with DIN EN ISO 835:2007 and DIN 12 690. Each unit is provided with a batch number and a certificate of conformity.
The glass is characterised by its outstanding chemical resistance to water, salt solutions, acids, bases and organic solvents. However, it is susceptible to attack by hydrofluoric acid and, at high temperatures, can be affected by strong bases and phosphoric acid.
Soda-lime glass offers chemical and physical properties suitable for products that must withstand short-term chemical stresses and are not exposed to high thermal loads. Its chemical resistance is classified according to the following standards.
?? Water: DIN 12111 / ISO 719
?? Acids: DIN 12116
?? Bases: DIN 52322 / ISO 695
